Blog Assignment #3: Climate Change

I think this is because of the climate change in the world. People can see it so clearly through media which have focused on the fact that the ocean levels are increasing. This is because the South- and the North Pole are melting very quickly. The reason the poles are melting is because we are burning so much oil. For example: airplanes, cars, boats and the biggest problem is the world industry. All these are burning large quantities of oil which in turn emit lots of carbon dioxide. The carbon dioxide is building a “shell” around the globe and this “shell” prevents the heat from the earth to bounce back out in space. The “shell” is building a greenhouse effect. The heat is entering but leaving which leads to increasing temperature.

Blog Assignment 2

I remember one of my first TV-series. It was Falcon Crest. At the same time you could watch Dallas. So either you were a Dallas fan or a Falcon Crest fan or I was a Falcon Crest fan.

Later when I was in my teens I started watching Glamour that went on channel 5, I do think it is still going on channel 5, but I’m not sure. I do remember that I was caught in Glamour for a very long time, maybe for 3 years. But it was pretty funny when I, after not been seeing the TV serie for a long time, still could catch up on what was happening. I´m glad that I’m not watching it today!

Today I´m watching Desperate housewife’s and I think this is the best TV serie I ever watched. That is because it make me laugh out loud and the women are so “desperate”. They do almost anything to get what they want. I also watch CSI.
But now the summer is coming and I’m glad that it is a summer break with most of the TV series so I can stay outside in the sun.

Children of today

When I think about children of today I think about how they lack in their own imagination. I think the biggest problem is that they don´t have to use it anylonger as they did before. The toys they play with are so detaild that they don´t need to use their imagination and the TV and the computer games make them sit still and they don´t wanna go outside and play anymore.
As and adoult and soon to become a teacher I think it is important that I trie to stimulate my pupils in my class. That I try to make them see that they are good at what they do. I think it´s important that I don´t criticize them when they, for example are playing or drawing. It´s better that I trie to encourage them and make them see the best of what they are doing.
We have a responsibilitie as adults to stimulate and encourage our children to make them understand that they doesn´t have to be best of everything and that they don´t have to make a perfect picture and so on...
Children of today must be taught that they are their very best of what they do and as an adult we must stimulate them to want to move foward and not give up so easy.
